The hotel had a lovely location with good dog walks nearby and friendly staff. The rooms were slightly outdated but comfortable, needing some refreshing. The hotel was very nicely decorated with comfortable beds and a large bay window overlooking the lovely grounds and golf course. However, it wasn't what we expected compared to last time we were there.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed with large comfy beds and roomy bathrooms including a walk-in shower and bath. The service is welcoming, helpful, and friendly, making the stay pleasant and thoughtless. The location, though lovely for walks, might not be ideal for getting a good night's rest. The dining options are good overall, with a variety to cater to everyone, but some disorganization was noted. The facilities are well-maintained and enjoyable, offering a pleasant experience.
